Blog 1 A Country/Place I Would Like/Love To Visit

Hello everybody i´m your buddy Nicolás Booth and today in mi blog i will writte to you about one of my favorites places to go some day in the future. so imagine like jhon lenon (bad joke sorry) a country with beautiful crystalline beaches, virgin jungles and huge cities with hyper-brutalist buildings, bastions of the growing local economy. that place has a name and it is malaysia.

when i was a kid my dad talk all the day about malaysia and his really big hotels with hundreds of tourists walking along the cities and the budist temples taking photos and eating that really weird food who everybody loves , he lived all his childhood and puberty in malasia whit my grandpa so when he arrives to chile he became whit a strong felling of love for malaysia that never went extinct that he transmitted to me until the day he died.

malaysia is an asian country placed in the indic ocean whit an extension of 329 847 km² , his capital is kuala lumpur but the goberment take place in the city of putrajaya.

in terms if history we dont have history , thats a joke again :) , malaysia like the federal republic of malaysia is a very young country , they organised like a federal republic in 1963 after his independence and a war with his side countries like indonesia. so before the republic organization malaysia was a protectorade of the british empire , so many years later thats calm was broken for the japaness empire in the second world war and after the finish of the war in the country born the flames of the revolution and independence.

about the culture and food malaysia is a vey rich one country , the most part of the population is muslim and budist and along the country is full of big monasteries and mosques and the food the only really important part for my in fact , the food is crazy , amazing i dont have words for explain all the flavors and tastes or ingredients that are used in the culinary culture of malaysia , one of my favorites dishes is nasi lemak what is a really big one plate whit fried rice an a lot of ingriedients.

so that is all buddies all the information what could gived you is in most part about the history and histories of my dad in malaysie but that could be in other chance , have a nice day!!!!

  5. Hi Nicolas! I can imagine the culture shock your father and grandfather must have suffered when they came to Chile from Malaysia haha, but how nice that you can learn about such an interesting culture (as you told us) from someone close to you, with the experiences of his whole life.
